Drexel HOPE

Telling a story as a nonprofit comes with its own set of unique challenges. To solve them, Drexel HOPE—an extension of the Drexel University College of Medicine—approached us with the task of creating an identity that they can apply to their mobile care unit. The vehicle makes weekly visits to a designated location in the city to provide health services to populations affected by opioid use disorder, HIV, and Hepatitis C. The challenge we faced was figuring out how this message could resonate with the community Drexel HOPE serves while still maintaining Drexel brand standards. The organization acts as an ambassador for Drexel as they’re out in Philadelphia neighborhoods; so, we needed to develop an identity with the professionalism and credibility of a renowned university and an approachable, welcoming atmosphere for individuals to walk up and not feel judged. Inspired by the mural art near the mobile care site, we partnered with local muralist Nilé Livingston to create hand-drawn artwork for the health initiative.

"The Paragraph team was super flexible and responsive in working with us on branding for a new community project. They took the time to make sure they fully understood the project before presenting us with several thoughtful directions for the brand. The final product is stunning and captures the spirit of the program. They made sure the design would translate to signage, apparel, marketing materials and more, as the program grew. The Paragraph team is talented and creative, but also customer service oriented. I would recommend working with Paragraph to anyone."
